Yep I'm still having success with my weight loss.
From 182 lbs to 142 - yes!
My program is definitely a work in progress.
Regular tweaking of my workouts and food.
Now I'm learning more about plant based protein.
Needless to say I'm quite pleased!

Update time
I sure do not post here very often.
Still doing well in spite of some high stress things going now.
My weight is now 145 - much better than 182!
Supposedly my ideal weight is 120 but I don't know.
That's a loss of 25 more lbs and I think that's too much.
OK that's all.

Playing in the kitchen
I want to try more whole grains.
Tonight I ate my first quinoa!
This is a whole grain that I mixed with chicken, black beans, tomatoes and salsa.
And it was so good!
Quinoa you can use in the same way you would rice.
Next grain will be kasha.
These whole grains are so nutritious for us yet a lot of people never try them.
More on another day.

An update
OK I'm still doing well.
Watching my food intake and regular cardio workouts.
This past week I'm seemed to plateau - which would not be unusual.
Been bouncing around - 151 to 153.
I want to see the 140's!
One thing I can do is watch my night grazing.
I've been getting into the cereal - 2 to 3 bowls.
The past two nights I've done much better.
Also have been slacking off on the water.
I've now gone to two Zumba classes!
They're lots of fun but takes some time to learn.
I'm going to hang in there!

OK moving on!
Geez I've had so much stress this past month.
Replaced my computer today & that's helped a lot.
And I'm still doing great with my workouts and diet.
I've lost almost 30 lbs - Yippee!

Going Strong!
I'm so pleased yet with my progress with weight loss & workouts!
Now I'm 25 lbs lighter - yes.
It's been a lot of work, especially with planning meals & it's been so worth it.
Increased energy.

Too much emphasis on what the scale says!
This I would definitely like to get over!
The past couple of days my weight has been two pounds over.
Now I would tell anyone else that your weight naturally fluctuates.
But me, I tend to get a bit down about it.
Solution: Weigh less often - Once a week is plenty!
I'm still very pleased with my weight loss and workout results.
Really seeing positive changes & that's quite exciting for me.
Something I've learned - when stress starts hitting me, I go for a mini walk.
Mega help.
That's what I'm going to do right now.

Zumba!
This is the Wii Zumba game I started tonight.
Oh yikes, it's a workout.
I want to get a bit familiar with some of the moves as the YMCA has a class I want to take.
But a whole hour of it?
We'll see.

Today was a quite stressful day for me.
I'm so pleased/proud of myself.
In spite of the stress, I did NOT overeat!

Looking good!
I'm excited!
A trainer that I know from another workout place is now working at the YMCA.
He is soooo good.
I'm going to have some free sessions with him.
For sure I will learn all kinds of good things about food and working out.
Oh boy this is a big motivational thing with me.
And last night I did one of the strength training machines that I was afraid to do - wow!
With this machine you pull yourself up (quite high) and I had been so afraid of falling for some reason.
Think it had to do with the dismount. You get off when you're still up.
This is kind of hard to explain.
OK that's it for now.

Mistake stress for hunger
That's what I do not want to be doing tonight.
A couple of things got me quite overwhelmed today - the anxiety disorder does not help that!
So I just had one of my meals - and am not going to eat till my next one.
I'm making such great progress with my new food plan.

Going good!
Maybe I've already said this - this blog is primarily for my wellness efforts.
The food thing is difficult for me at night - mindless eating.
Overall I'm doing pretty good!
Tonight I tried the Wii Just Dance 2 - OMG so much fun!

Making Progress
I'm going to use this blog for workout and personal improvement efforts.
No I didn't make any New Year's resolutions - I prefer to work on things as they come up.
Most important is for me to get back to my regular cardio workouts.
They help me so much with anxiety and lessen my desire to overeat.
Tonight I worked with the Wii Biggest Loser game & really like it.
It's fun, challenging and not so difficult to figure out.
My sis and I went out to eat today.
Of course I ate quite a bit so tonight I just had soup. That was plenty.
OK that's all for tonight.
